The one piece of software that everyone uses is address book software. It is used on all the various types of computers, cell phones, tablets and all electronic devices. The one problem is however, when we try to use or send data to a program that is not compatible with the one that we are using or normally use.
The programs that run on all of these devices is mostly the same even though it may be produced by different companies. Even though different companies make these programs many of them have the same functions and some of them can even still work with one another. This is an advantage to the end user when they can still communicate with people on different programs.
This is where the problem gets difficult to deal with. When you have millions of each kind of device and almost everyone on the planet is using one it can be difficult to make people change. Especially when they are so engrained in how they live their lives and these devices are a huge part of that.
The social aspect of our lives today is all handled by these electronic devices that we use. Therefore all of our information and data that we would normally use in our daily lives is also handled by these machines. This is why our contact information is so important to our lives and everything that we do. Without the machine to store the data we would lose it.
The perfect example of this is phone numbers. In the past people would mostly remember a list of phone numbers for friends and family. Today, we put the number into our phones and ones we hit save we never have to think about it again. Every time we need it or have to use it we just call it up on the phone and it dials. We never have to remember it again.
This is how the devices handle things for use. They take the chore of remembering things out of our hands. This is why the contact information for people we know or need to speak with is stored the same way and so important. Without the name, address, phone number, special dates to remember and so on we would not even know where to start.
Trying to get in touch with people just by memory is impossible today if we are not using one of these devices that we have gotten so used to. Our family even, we cannot even think of their numbers when we need them if it is not for the phone or tablet that we always have attached to our fingertips. This is how our lives are managed today.

All the companies that are making these programs are selling millions of them so it will be hard to change.
